Guarda (mt. 1653)

Small nucleus, which refers to the municipality of Lavin, embraced by the typical Engadine woods, Guarda is on a terrace sunny from where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains (its name, in fact, comes from "Warda", which means observatory).
The case of farmers are very well preserved and decorated in vibrant, thanks to a painstaking restoration carried out in the 40s.
Truly wonderful decorations Façade, characterized by contrasting colors that make merry and all the wrought-iron windows.
Surprised the old fountains wood, and not least is the church of 1494, with wooden ceiling of the'700.
Because of its typicality is protected as artistic heritage of Switzerland.
A unforgettable country.
